<Poem>
板橋人渡泉聲，
茆簷日午雞鳴。
莫嗔焙茶煙暗，
却喜曬穀天晴。

<Translation>
As the visitor was crossing a plank bridge over a brook
He heard spring water murmuring.
The sun was shining at high noon
Over the thatched eaves of a farm house,
Hens clucking and chuckling.
The peasant said to the visitor:
"Don't be bothered by the dark smoke out of teabaking."
He was, however, glad of the fine weather
To dry up his grains in the sun shining.
